Creative Loafing Magazine’s “Best of the Bay” Competition

Tampa, FL (October 1, 2020) – Creative Loafing Magazine announced Wednesday that Taco Bus is the winner of their 2020 “Best of the Bay” award for Best Food Truck/Vendor.

From August 6, 2020 to September 3, 2020, Creative Loafing Magazine asked for the public to place online votes for the various businesses and individuals who had been nominated for “Best of the Bay” competition.

“It’s an honor to win this award. We have been operating in Tampa Bay for over twenty years and are so grateful for the continued support as we grow and expand.” said Heather Chaudhry, Director of Marketing for Taco Bus. “We can’t thank our community enough for their votes!” she added.

Our Tacos of Terror special includes two tacos wrapped in black tortillas, black chips, and a drink, all for $6.66 (while supplies last). The kicker to this meal deal is the scorpion sauce. It’s two times hotter than a ghost pepper and is sure to make you scream! This is the 2nd year we are featuring this special. From August 18, 2020 to September 1, 2020, restaurants participated in Creative Loafing Magazine’s “Tampa Bay Taco Takeover 2020” where for 15 days 41 participating restaurants featured taco specials and competed in the Ultimate Taco Competition. The restaurant who had the most online votes from patrons for their featured “Ultimate Taco” would win the competition. Our featured blackened shrimp tacos topped with cheese, cabbage, and Pico de Gallo were a huge hit! We want to thank our customers for their support and for taking the time to vote online, it means so much to us!
