Taco Bus catering brings a build-your-own taco bar to your event anywhere in Tampa Bay — you pick the proteins, we bring everything else, including the chafing dishes. Two catering specials are running this month, and both are worth planning around.
Labor Day: 10% off catering
Labor Day is Monday, September 7, and Taco Bus is taking 10% off catering orders for it.
Your crew worked all summer. Feed them properly — hand-made tacos, burritos and bowls delivered to the cookout, the job site, or the backyard.
No promo code needed. Submit the catering form and we’ll apply the 10% when we confirm your order — just get it in at least 24 hours ahead.
Bucs home opener: 10% off catering
Sunday, September 13. Forty people in your living room, one screen, and somebody has to feed them.
Same deal — 10% off catering, no code required. Tacos, burritos and quesadillas show up ready to serve. Kickoff’s covered; you supply the couch.
How Taco Bus catering actually works
Every order is built the same way, so it scales from a ten-person office lunch to a backyard full of people.
Pick your tortillas. Crispy corn, soft corn, or soft flour.
Pick your proteins. One, two, or three. Grilled chicken, shredded chicken in tomatillo sauce, chipotle chicken, spicy chicken, marinated pork smoked in banana leaves, carnitas, ground beef, or carne asada. Vegetarian and vegan eaters are covered too — portobello ranchero, butternut squash, PlantFare, and vegan steak are all on the list, and most of the menu is gluten-free on corn tortillas.
Everything else comes with it. Cabbage, pico de gallo, sour cream, cheese, red or green salsa, and your choice of Mexican rice and refried beans or chips and salsa. Plus plates, napkins, utensils, chafing dishes, stands and sternos — the stuff people forget until the morning of.
Add what you want. Guacamole and queso by the quart, empanadas by the dozen, agua frescas and iced tea by the gallon.
Pick up or get it delivered
Pick up from any of our eight Tampa Bay locations, have it delivered, or have it delivered with a server to set up and run the line.
Give us at least 24 hours’ notice on any catering order, and 72 hours for groups of 30 or more. The lead time is what lets us prep fresh instead of pulling from a warmer.
Having more than a hundred people? Book the food truck instead and we’ll bring the whole operation to you.
Fall flavors are back
While you’re planning, two seasonal favorites returned to the menu on September 1 and stay through November 30 — Apple Pie Empanadas and Pumpkin Spice Horchata.
They’re on the regular menu, not the catering sheet, but they’re a good reason to stop in between events.
Book it
Taco Bus has been Tampa Bay’s street-food original since 1995, and catering is the same food that built that — hand-made, made to order, no shortcuts.
Both September specials run through the catering form — submit it and we’ll apply the discount when we confirm your order.
