Mondays just got a whole lot better for Tampa Bay families.
Let’s be honest: Mondays are rough. You’re back to the grind, the kids are adjusting to the school week, and the last thing you want to do is figure out dinner. That’s exactly why we created Kids Eat Free Mondays at Taco Bus.
Every Monday from 5-8 PM, kids 12 and under eat FREE with the purchase of an adult entrée at all eight of our Tampa Bay locations. It’s our way of making family dinner easier, more affordable, and a whole lot more fun.
How Kids Eat Free Mondays Works
The deal is simple:
- When: Every Monday, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Where: All eight Taco Bus locations (dine-in only)
- What: One free kids entrée per adult entrée purchased
- Who: Kids 12 years old and under
Just show up, order your meal, and get the deal. No coupons to clip, no apps to download, no hoops to jump through. We keep it chido and keep it simple.
Why Families Love Taco Bus
We’ve been serving Tampa Bay families since 1995, and we know what makes a great family dining experience. Here’s what sets us apart:
♦ Real Food, Real Fast
Nobody wants to wait forever when they’ve got hungry kids in tow. Our kitchen moves fast without cutting corners on quality. Fresh ingredients, authentic recipes, and service that doesn’t keep you waiting.
♦ Kid-Friendly Menu with Grown-Up Flavor
Your kids can choose from tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and more—all made with the same quality ingredients we use for adult meals. No sad chicken nuggets or frozen fries here. We’re talking real Mexican food that kids actually love.

Picky eater? No problem. We’ve got simple cheese quesadillas. Adventurous eater? They can try our authentic tacos. Dietary restrictions? We offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options so everyone in the family can find something they love.

Pro Tips for Kids Eat Free Mondays
Arrive Early or Late The sweet spot is right when we open at 5 PM or closer to 7:30 PM. The middle hour tends to be busiest with families taking advantage of the deal.
Try Something New With the kids meal being free, it’s the perfect opportunity to let them try something adventurous. If they don’t love it, you’re not out any extra money.
Bring the Whole Crew Multiple kids? Multiple free meals! Each adult entrée purchase gets you one free kids entrée, so bring the whole family.
Make It a Weekly Thing Consistency is key with kids. Make Monday night “Taco Bus Night” and watch it become the highlight of their week.
More Than Just a Deal
Sure, the free kids meal is great for your wallet. But what we’re really offering is something bigger: a chance for Tampa Bay families to sit down together, enjoy quality food, and create those little memories that add up over time.
In a world where everyone’s rushing from one thing to the next, Monday nights at Taco Bus are about slowing down—if just for an hour—and enjoying being together.
